Blatently ****** by Nedbank

I am so heartbroken to write a bad report as an ex employee, but I feel I have been ******. I have had a couple of personal loans and my most recent one I paid in full on the 29th of December 2023. Now in January i see I am being charged interest and admin fees on a ZERO blance!! How is the interest calculated on R0,00?? I called and apparently I need a settlement letter or Nedbank will just keep charging for nothing.

Nobody told me when I took out the loan I will need to obtain a settlement letter in order to close the account.

I also find out the bank is charging me almost R1000 to close the account!! Its disgusting

If thats not enough they give you 7 days to pay this money or they wont close the account!! I sc****d the money together to pay this backbreaking loan and I do t have R1000 laying around.

Guess what. Nedbank dont care!!!!

Never again will I take out a loan with Nedbank. In fact I am thinking of moving my homeloan, credit card and salary to another bank. I am so upset to be treated like this.
