Beyond annoyed with NEDBANK

I had opened an account for my daughter for saving purposes. I then received a message related to FICA and went to the Newmarket branch to send my documents. however, recently i went to the bank to withdraw from these savings and i couldn't because of that FICA issue. They uploaded the documents and it is still pending till today. the lady at the branch could not over-ride this and sent communication to the relevant department. I am now on a call which i have been holding for over 20 minutes now. The guy who answered and has put me on hold, did not seem keen in assisting and just quickly put my call through I don't where. I want to have access to my account already, I was not saving to just give my money to Nedbank (no matter how small it is). I need it and I need to close this account, as I want nothing to do with the bank anymore. I have been to the branch over 5 times now, and that's where i should have been assisted in the first place.

People that work for such institutions should get into the culture of actually saying they don't know, instead of promising us the world.
