Bey bey Nedbank
Today I made a decision that as soon as possible I will move my account from Nedbank to Capitek. I stood in the queue at Nedbank yesterday. For more than 10 minutes not a single person in the queue of 9 people moved an inch. The tellers just seemed to be staring into their screens and noone assisted the queue to hear what our needs were. I eventually walked out saying out loud I can stand my day away here. I have other appointments as well. I wasnt even noticed walking out. Today I returned with the same scenario facing me and turned around and walked out. I went straight to Capitek bank. Loadshedding was due in 15 minutes. Nedbank was to close during loadshedding. Upon arrival I asked the friendly person who greeted me at the door if they will close during loadshedding. He answered normally not but their generator was ****** by some other "inovative" citizens, but there is a branch further down the road that will be open. However, he asked me, How can I help? I told him that I wasn't to deposit money. He asked me why I don't rather use the ATM? He quickly calculated the fee difference for me and told me that it would cost me R147 to deposit inside and R50 at the ATM. I then told him that I fell uncomfortable to stand with my money in the street. He told me that there is already a staff member outside to assist me as they are moving the queue quickly to get all helped before load shedding. Before 5 minues was over my money was safely in then bank!! I drove home opened my app on my phone and transfered the money with a direct transfer to Nedbank for R8 which was instantly there!! A direct transfer at Nedbank would take a half an hour to an hour to show. I think my days with Nedbank are over. Thank you Capitek for excellent service and for understanding the needs of your customers!!!
