Beware of Nedbank ombudsman liaison team.

Watch out for the pathetic excuse of a team that calls themselves the Nedbank ombudsman liaison. They are utterly useless and have proven to be a complete disappointment. I can't believe the despicable behavior exhibited by Nedbank. I had a legitimate ombudsman query and they had the audacity to wait until the very last moment to inform me that they would refund me. But of course, the lazy, *********** managers at that sorry excuse for a bank decided to go on vacation and conveniently forget about refunding my money. When the hell am I going to get it? Take a look at their pathetic response below, dated 14 December 2023. I unfortunately bank with these imbeciles, and if they had any intention of actually refunding my money, they could have done so immediately. Where the hell is my money? Good day Summary of your complaint: You state that he was ****med into depositing money into an account and the bank is now refusing to refund your loss. Our response: You by your own admission state that you voluntarily deposited funds into an FNB account for a loan. You realised that this was a **** and you reported the matter to the bank. The bank as soon as the matter was reported attempted to secure the funds from FNB in order to refund you, however, FNB had responded and confirmed that no funds could be secured as same had already been utilised. It must be noted that the loss you incurred was not due to any maladministration, negligence or system failure on part of the bank and therefore your claim to be refunded was refuted. We have however reviewed the matter and as a gesture of goodwill and as a once off agreed to refund you the total loss of R963.00 as full and final settlement of this matter. We trust that you find this in order and await your confirmation that we may close this case as resolved.
