Being charged service fees on an account that is under debt review

Good day I sent an email dated 30/11/2017 to Nedbank complaints dept to bring to their attention that I am being charged bank fees on my cheque account. I received a response to say they are looking at it, they will come back to me, that was dated 01/12/2017. I did not get a response from I sent another email on Wed 6/12/2017. And still no response. I have been under debt review since June 2014. My Nedbank overdraft should have been paid off (last installment) 28/06/2017. As of March 2017 I still had a balance of R2916.30. So I looked at my monthly statements and Nedbank started charging me a Enrolement fee of R204, a monthly fee starting as R17 per month and a NRB accting sub fee of R156 pm, since 02/03/2015. As per October this year the fees have increased to R19 per month and a NRB accting subscription fee of R168. So in total, Nedbank has charged me an amount of R4436. All because I never looked at my statements. Because I trusted Nedbank not to add to the debt unnecessarily. My mistake. I have requested all these bank charges to be reversed and refunded back to me. As according to 'Final letter of Acceptance of Rearrangement Proposal' it states that Zero monthly fees will be charged. And if a person goes the length to be under debt review to pay off their debt why must Nedbank load it will service fees which just increase the amount owing. Surely they should assist you in paying off the mentioned debt and not add more to it every month. Disgusted with Nedbank. Bronwynn
