Banks don't care

Nedbank home loans canceled my home insurance in 2017 without my knowledgement yet I have a contract that states the two can't be separated. It only came to my attention when my geyser was leaking in June 2020 and logging a claim that I'm not insured. My house could have been on fire with no home insurance. I logged a complaint on the 22June and it was acknowledged with no resolution till now.
