Bank with no logic

Worst bank to ever deal with! I app**** for a debt consolidation loan, and was told i cant afford another loan. Currently my debt is over R2000 monthly and the consolidation quote would make it 1000 a month. How can i not afford another loan when the whole point of a consolidation is to pay off other debt and get a lower monthly premium. Wheres the logic? I have tried 3 times! Maybe its time for me to switch to a better bank
