Bank statement request in English from Afrikaans

I have been banking with Nedbank since 1982 and have never faced any issues until today. Currently I'm working out of South Africa and need 3 months bank statements from my savings account to apply for a visit visa to Morocco. At the time my account was opened the preference was Afrikaans. I've spent hundreds of rands on the phone to the international customer care service. They informed my that it is impossible to have statement in English. I can change the preference to English and that all statements in future will be in English but no back statements will ever be able to be in English. I'm desperate for help and was told that nobody anywhere in Nedbank will be able to help me to find a solution.
