Bank responsible for eviction due to tripple debit
I have a personal loan with Nedbank and have been unemployed for some time now. A nedbank consultant contacted me with regards to payment and I explained my situation. I started a new job 2 weeks ago and when contacted let them know I now have a temp job and they can therefore debit an installment month end. Only to be shocked when they deducted 3 installments of R1528 each on Month end. I went to the bank , stood in a que for 50 minutes only to be told I must call the loans department. When I did so they gave me an incorrect number to call the legal department. I eventually got hold of their lawyers on Monday the. 01 June 2015 whent was due! I explained to the lawyer he sent me a Section 58 to complete which I did and he assured me I will be refunded of the. Incorrect extra debits. To only have him send back an email the following day stating that Nedbank has declined my refund they have allocated the extra debits to the months I was unemployed. I am now being evicted from my place of residence due to them just taking liberties on my account! What's the use of making arrangements when they just do what they want anyway??? I want answers!!
