Bank refusing to refund ********** transactions.

On the 2 March 2018, I used a NEDBANK ATM to draw money for my rent. When i placed the card in the machine, my debit card got jammed and i could not remove it. No transactions were made. A large sum of money was subsequently drawn out my account. My daily limit is a R1000-00. Why have a daily limit on an account when ********** can empty your bank account. The bank is not willing to refund the money as they say my pin was compromised. How can the bank not be party to the transaction or in a position to prevent it? I am a gardener and have been living in Kwa-Zulu Natal from 2011. I earn a minimal wage and have been saving money to send to my family in Malawi.

I am truly devastated.
