Bank Grabs Savings.

<p>In 1999 I deposited R 6000 with Permanent Bank in Gabriel Rd Cape Town, to be invested to earn interes. I have a letter that states it is my Deposit Receipt abd gives me a deposit number, and ssays interest would be annually at 14%. Since Perm Bank was taken over by NEDBANK, I went to see them and wrote a letter accompanying the photocopy of my letter from Perm Bank in 1999. The reply was that they denied the authenticity of the letter . I then app**** to Mr. Gerry Muller who is a friend of an acquaintance and heard nothing since Dec, except that they cannot find my deposit! This is outrageous, it is ******* of an elderly lady who needs the money desperately, i.e. me! I wonder how many other people's money has been swallowed up in this fashion and there is NOTHING they will do to help. I think this should be exposed to all people who deposit their money with Nedbank. It is MY MONEY and I want it and the interest accrued.</p>
