bait and switch

I recently bought a car and as expected I went shopping for insurance. I settled on Nedbank because they had the best deal and friendliest agent (I was pleased with the service). A week later they call me to say that the information, which I repeatedly gave the agent, was captured incorrectly. Based on the new (correct information) I now have to pay more. I refused the new deal and requested that they listen to the recorded call and prove that the fault was not mine. This was supposed to take about 48 hours, but as expected nobody called. After nearly a week I decided to accept the new agreement so that things can move along with the dealership. More than a month later I was forced to contact them to find out what was going on. I was then informed that even though it is there fault I would still have to stick with the new deal because they cannot override their system. Usually I would have forgiven the human error and comp****, but I have had many unrelated issues with Nedbank capturing incorrect information and this was the last straw. Needless to say, I will be shopping around for new insurance and i advise anybody considering Nedbank to be careful or just go elsewhere.
