Bad service from Nedbank Clearwater
The bad service my mum received from Nedbank in Clearwater Mall. My mum went to Westgate last week to open an account, she was advised by the consultant that they are unable to help her, as she previously had a business account with them, I am not sure what the logic in this is. They told her that they will contact her when the have an answer for her regarding the opening of the account. On the 14th they emailed her the below, __________________________________ Hello PHYLLIS JELE

On Saturday I took my mum to Nedbank in Clearwater Mall, she followed the protocol, whoever was at the door, gave her the relevant ticket, then my mum took a seat. Then after all the customers were served, my mum was then attended, she was asked why was she there, she told the person that her phone is off, but she called me to produce the email, as both of us received the same email. It was already after 12h00, but Phili let me in which I appreciate. After reading the email, my mum was advised that the bankers had left, why do people knock off before serving all the clients??? When issuing a ticket, don't you hear the client out first, before you make them wait and tell them to come back on Tuesday? Is it fair? does it make good business sense? The team leader who was there on Saturday was Krishnee or Krishna if I am not mistaken. A client is not supposed to be told to come back, especially if they went in the bank before it closed. I am not impressed by this humiliation and inconvenience caused to a pensioner. People think that everyone has money lying around for up and down to and from the bank. Phili did suggest that my mum should use a Nedbank app to proceed with her application, however I advised her that at that moment my mum's phone had switched off and I couldn't do it on mine, as it was not practical. Is this how clients are treated or is there hierarchy of some sort?
