BAD SERVICE
My mother is 92 years old, paralyzed and bed-ridden. I have had power of attorney on her account since she opened the account and have always managed it for her.
I have had the following issues with Nedbank in the past year and today was just the cherry on the top:
a. My original Power of Attorney was lost and we had to redo it. We also gave a family friend Power of Attorney in case something happens to me so the instruction was that they were to be independent of each other. Today I find that both of us have to sign!!!!
b. I tried to activate Internet Banking but only my Mom can do that. But I can withdraw as much money as I want???!!!!!
c. I went to Nedbank (Randburg) this morning to collect a new Debit Card as is about to expire but they won't give me the card because I'm not allowed to change the pin number. But I was able to collect the last card that was issued, signed for the card and put in the pin number. But no one at Nedbank is prepared to reason.

I have been told to get a doctor's letter stating that my mother's condition. How about Nedbank get off their butts and makes a home visit instead and issue my mother with the damn card!!!!!
Extremely frustrated!!
