Bad Service

I opened an account online and opted to fetch my card from the Greenstone branch. I arrived at Greenstone on the 24th of May 2017 and was assisted by Innocent who didn’t accept my proof of residents because it has no stamp. I then went to FNB for the statement which reflected my old address and Nedbank had to change the address in their system to match with the one showing on the statement. I was told that i have to wait 3 to 4 working days for FICA to authenticate my documents and remove the hold on the account before they can encode my bank card. They also indicated that i can go to the nearest branch after 4 days and they will be able to assist me. On the 27th of May 2017, exactly the 4th day after i submitted the proof of residents, i went to the new Edenvale branch and i was told that the Greestone branch submitted the documents incorrectly. They only changed the physical address and not the postal address so i had to re-submit the documents which i did. With all this happening, my company already paid my salary to this account but both Greentstone and Edenvale told me that there is no money reflecting but my company insists that it went through. Today, 29th May 2017, i phone the FICA department and they told me that Edenvale also submitted the documents incorrectly and I MUST PHONE THE BRANCH and ask them to phone FICA and they will take them through the process with regards to how the information is meant to be captured. I phoned Stanley ****ane from the Edenvale branch who was assisting me on the 29th and he said he was going to get back to me. I waited for 3 hours and when i phoned him he told me that they also did not change the postal address hence FICA declined my proof of address. I was given a card that doesn’t work and i still cannot access my money. This has been the most appalling service i have ever received and to make things worse, i am joining Nedbank for the first time and i feel this has been the worst decision i have ever made. Nedbank need to train their staff to have a sense of emergency and priorities cases of this nature. They response i received from Stanley was that IT IS UNFORTUNATE and there is nothing they can do to assist me. Very Bad Service.
