Bad Insurance Service
On the 10th of November, I submitted a claim due to the storm damage that inflicted my garage ceiling. After multiple calls to Nedbank insurance division, the agent said the insurance agent handling my claim will get back to me, this never happened. On the 25th of November, the insurance division appointed an assessor who contacted me to inform me that they had been assigned to conduct the assessment. I supp**** all the relevant information and awaited a date for the assessment to be conducted. After following up on a date on the 26th of November, I received a response from the assessor on the 28th of November stating that they are inundated with multiple storm claims, which was understandable. They then suggested that the 5th of December would suffice, which I have agreed upon. On the 2nd of December, I messaged the assessor again, and they indicated that the 8th of December would work. We agreed on the 10th of December, I then received an sms from Nedbank stating that the assessor will come thorough on the 8th so I took off from work They did not show up nor was there any courtesy message to inform me that they will not pitch, I then tried contacting the assessor however they no longer respond to my messages nor do they take my calls, furthermore their landline does not work. Since then, the damage to my ceiling has been greater, resulting in more damage. I am upset as a Nedbank client that Nedbank would trust such serious cases with service providers with low reviews, and workmanship ethics are nonexistent. It has now been over a month since the claim was filed, and nothing has been done. I am seriously considering losing Nedbank as a service provider, as I feel important things that impact my well-being and my life do not matter to Nedbank other than my money.
