Bad customer service

Nedbank decided to stop my credit card without making me aware. I can't transfer money or use the card. When I call the call centre agent. They tell me that the system generated a new card. How can that happen without informing the client. I am inconvenienced. I didn't get any notification that they will stop the credit card.
