Bad customer service and failure to honor their promises

Good day

My name is Lucas Makgolane, I approached Nedbank early this year January 2022 requested them to switch my home loan from SA home loans to Nedbank.

The reasons for my switch was I need to do house renovation and I have app**** little extra funds as compared to what I owe to ther bank.

Prior to my application been approved I became aware that Nedbank currently runs a campaign where you take a bond with them they offer 50% discount on the attorneys registration fee, which i was promised to receive it prio to completion of the registration of the bond under Nedbank.

The challenge now is the consulatant who is assisting me is not giving me feedback about the discount, the attorneys confirmed that they have not received instruction from Nedbank to include the discount on my finances. The attorneys Valeli received a call from Nedbank consultant who assured them that they will receive an email to confirm the discount.

Unfortunately now I am not getting any response from Nedbank.

I need hello peter to assist me in ensuring that Nedbank honors their promise and the attorneys are my witness.

I feel betrayed and my impression is Nedbank saw me desperate they are taking advantage of my challenge.

I am using their savvy bundle account where my salary is paid and they say they care about thier clients but i don't see that.

I dont think I will be willing to continue with the transaction if they refuse me the discount I promised.

I promised my family that we will renovate the house with Nedbank funds, but now doing what they arr doing I am **** in front of my family.

My home loan quotation number is ***8

I even lodged a complain with them were I was told to wait

I'm still trying to process the fact that a bank as big as Nedbank who advocate good service and are currently running a campaign on a national team. Where they say when you take a home loan with them they will give 50% discount on attorneys registration fee and I was promised to afforded they same like all their customers.

Now they are actually denying to provide the same thing to me. They are dishonest, unreliable and I don't think i can trust them or advise anyone to take their offers because the treatment i got is bad and i don't wish anyone to experience what i am going through.

Pity i have accepted their offer, hence I'm not important client anymore

I am ashamed to even tell people that I'm banking with Nedbank who can treat me like nobody

What I need and humble request from Hello peter is assistance to ask Nedbank to provide me with the 50% discount on my attorneys registration fee as promised.

You are my only and last hope hello peter

Dear hello peter

I received feedback from Nedbank regarding my complain on the 50% discount as discussed.

Now they are saying it is not them who offers the discount, the discount is at the discretion of registering attorneys.

The attorneys are offering me 25% discount and Nedbank currently runs a campaign on a national tv advertising and promoting that when they finance a client home loans yoy quality for the discount

Please assist in ensuring that Nedbank honors their promise and give me the discount
