Bad customer service

I have a credit card with Nedbank, which is 2 months in arrears of which I am aware and of which I am not disputing. For the past few months as it is a norm, consultants have been calling me and I will make an arrangement to pat R360 by the 26th of the month in which they call me. They will explain that I will continue to receive those call, because my account is in arrears. They would ask me why my account is in arrears and I would tell them its due to my finances at the moment.

I was meant to pay R360 as agreed on the 26-04-2018, but due to unforeseen circumstances beyond by control I was unable to. On Monday the 30-04-2018, I received a call from a lady whose name I cannot remember, she was so rude that I just dropped the call. Few minutes later a gentleman called me and I told him, I would make a payment before the end of that day. I paid R600 into my credit card as promised on the day before 5pm.

Yesterday at 12:36, I received a SMS from Nedbank thanking me for the payment and telling me that I still have an outstanding of R310. Today, I get a call from Nedbank + ********** 3000 @ 12:06, spoke to Thulani he explains the whole arrears to me again and rectifies that I owe R910 and not R310 as the SMS stipulates and he further explains how I can help myself by keeping my credit card up to date. All said and done, make arrangements to may R910 by the 26 May 2018, He also explained that my card is closing on the 7th May 2018, so I should look out for my statement which will be emailed to me to know exactly how much will be due by the 26 May 2018, but he will however leave or put a note for the R910 for the 26 May 2018.

At 12:37 I receive this exact message: "We would like to remind you that minimum payment of R910 was due on your Nedbank credit card by 2018-04-30. Contact Centre: ********** . I then called the number and was rudely assisted by a guy called Greg, rude in a sense that he would not listen to me but wanted to be heard. He kept on telling me about being 2 months in arrears. A fact that I am aware of and not disputing. The reason from my call was to know why I received a message which said "was" instead of "is" because I had just made an arrangement for the future.

Let me say it again, I know I am in arrears and I am not disputing that fact. Also it's not the first time I make or have made a payment arrangement, It is however the first time that I made an arrangement and then receive a SMS which refers to the past. Hence my call and hence my annoyance when you get assistance by someone like Greg, who wants to be "right"

Regards,
