Bad communication process

I sent and email on the 11 of Oct 2021 requesting for a debit order change to move from the 16 to 26. This was a back and forth delayed response being sent from one dept to the next. Eventually it bounced and then after was advised my date has been amendend for the 26 of October. Only to find out that this was never done, inquiredd via email again ... no response .. n this month still no debit has gone off. .. please assist in this ...
