Bad bank service

I took out a student loan in 2017 and paid close to half when I became unemployed and then Covid-19 came. As with most people I could not afford to pay anything further (the balance of the loan). But for the past 4-5 years I have not received a single statement, phone call or sms informing me of my outstanding balance. When I checked my credit profile they have listed me for the full initial amount plus they added interest. Still, to date, I have had no communication from them, not even a phone call or bank statement. Please help.
