Avoiding, honouring thier insurance obligations
Three weeks ago my intercom system was damaged. I then reported this to Nedbank (whom insure my home). I first called them to report the issue, they then informed me that they would send an assessor. It took an entire week for the assessor to arrive and do what he is required. The assessor's verdict was that the intercom would need to be replaced. Ever since then, I cannot get a resolution from Nedbank. I have phoned them more than 5 times, which they then assure me that they will call me back to resolve this matter, which inevitably they never do. It seems that I cannot get any service from Nedbank regarding this matter as all attempts to do so go blatantly ignored.

It seems as if Nedbank is dodging their insurance obligations, is this isn't the first time we have had to put up with this extremely negligent and painful behaviour from a seemingly reputable financial services provider. This is incredibly unacceptable, and a breach of the insurance contract on Nedbank's behalf, seeing as though my insurance premiums are always paid in advance!
