Avoid Nedbank for a student loan.

<p>On the 21st February I wrote a review on Hello Peter as to how slow the process was in applying for a student loan. Nedbank then contacted me and appologised. So much for the appology. We app**** in January and after being back to the Phalaborwa branch at least ten times, to sign different documentation. To our absolute horor we were informed yesterday this application is still in process and that the debit order that I generated on Rose the banker at the branch in Phalaborwa's instructiond, was wrong and had to be ammended. The intial ammount that she gave me was R370. I created a debit order for R400. This debit order was created at the branch on the 30th of May. The new instruction was recieved yesterday. How slow can your process be.</p> <p>The other instuction recieved yesterday was that my son the student, had to open additional account. This is after we followed Nedbank's instruction for him to open a student loan account. He studies in Pretoria and went to the Menlyn branch to complete this instuction. Why not open all the relevant accounts on the day that the student is their.</p> <p>This is the worst and most frustrating service I have recieved in all my years of doing business with any organistion. My advise would be that you apply for a student loan with any other bank other than Nedbank. This is after banking with them for more than 20 years.</p>
