They broke into my house on the 22 Jan 2015, i reported the matter to my insurance the same day and on the following day they sent some contractor to do emergency work. The contractor's work was poor, i informed the Ned group insurance that i don't want the services of their contractor and i will organize my own contractor. on the 27 Jan 2015 i contacted the Ned group insurance to follow up on the claim, I was told that the claim could not be finalized because the case no from the police station was missing. i provided the insurance with the case no and i was sent a form to release the funds since i did not want to use their contractor. on the 28 Jan 2015 when i made a follow up on the payment, i was told that am obliged to use their contract as their contractor had already bought the material to fix my place. the person that i was dealing with told me that she will close the claim if i don't want to use their contractor and i can even bring my lawyer if i wanted to. i just feel that their contractor's standard of work is poor and i cannot allow them to mess my place because they were appointed by them. i need to part-ways with this insurance i cannot be treated like this.
