ATMs never work

I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the amount of Nedbank ATMs that are out of order. I am constantly forced to use alternate banks ATMs and then I get an sms from Nedbank saying I should avoid using alternate ATMs. I spoke to a Nedbank employee on the phone two weeks ago and he admitted many customers complain about the ATMs so why is nothing done and why should I be force to pay extra bank charges if the ATMs don't work?
