ATM machine swallowing cash deposit

I went to pay a deposit into the ATM for my nedbank credit card and after placing my money in the slot and the machine said that it accepts the full amount i pressed confirm, after which the machine gave me back my credit card and went straight to the home page without printing receipt stating the money has been allocated to my credit card account.
