Asked to close other bank account to join Nedbank

<p>Please let me know why I have to close my current account from another bank to open a savings account at Nedbank? I tried to open one with Nedbank and they made me run up down for everything they needed and no courtesy to call me...for update..when they could have simply tell me no....Are african foreigners no longer allowed to have accounts at your bank?</p>
