Approved only not to be approved

If I could give a -100 rating I would have done so. I bank with Nedbank Private clients. As I do not have any debt on my name I have asked my banker to please try and get me a credit card as I want to start building my credit profile.

Meldah, has done so and the following morning 24 August I received an offer from Nedbank for a R20 000.00 credit card. I immediately accepted the offer. By the 30th of August going back and forth apparently Nedbank had have some sort of IT Problem amd they could not have issued a card nor account number and my application had to be resubmitted (please note this was after agreement signed, and approval I have all evidence from my banker)

Today 05 September I was informed that my application has been declined. So NedBank please explain to me as an above average client how *********** are you to offer a credit card then after agreement has signed you have a IT issue that is not resolvable.

I am taking all evidence I have to the banking Onbudsman and I will make sure that all media platforms know about how you treat your clients!

I am sick to the stomach and not only that my own banker called crying over the phone that she is failing me and then the next day she told me she is over it and not worried that she is failing me anymore! How can this even be acceptable!!!!!!
