Appalling service and waste of time

I received an SMS notification on the 7th November saying “You may qualify for a limit increase on your credit card. Reply YES within 24 hours and we will call you back. Reply stop to opt out. Standard rates apply.” I rep**** immediately with ‘YES”. When I received no feedback I called the credit card division on the 14th/15th of November and went through a very long process of giving all my details over the phone which lasted about 30 mins. The consultant said I would get a response in 3-5 working days and I said that I needed an answer immediately and he said that was not possible. On the 20th November I emailed Nedbank customer service to follow up and did not receive a response so I sent another email on the 22nd November. I missed a call yesterday 27th November while I was working and received an email to say that Nedbank had called. I responded asking what the call was in connection with and received an email saying it was about my limit increase and if all was in order. I said of COURSE all is NOT in order I am STILL waiting on a response 2 weeks later. Then I was told that there is no record of my application and I now need to reapply. I find this completely unacceptable, I don’t have time or patience to repeat the process and don't understand why I, as a loyal Nedbank customer for over 10 years, need to be inconvenienced for Nedbank's incompetence!

Typical copy paste response. This matter has not been resolved and Nedbank expects me to just go through the entire process again. What a waste of time.
