Appalling client service, Nedbank Parys - Free State

I am a Nedbank client.

On 04/09/2023 I visited the Nedbank branch in Parys, the branch is currently undergoing renovations, but is, allegedly, open for business.

Upon requesting assistance with a cash deposit, from a staff member, that was lounging on outdoor furniture and chatting to friends, in the parking area. It was clear that i was disrupting his conversation with friends.

I was informed by this staff member that I should travel to another town, to have the money deposited. Whilst still in conversation with this staff member, he continued chatting to his friends and was clearly agitated with me interrupting his discussion with his friends.

I was absolutely disgusted by this Nedbank staff member's lackadaisical attitude, with absolutely NO REGARDS for client service. His total disregard for clients made it clear that Nedbank do not value their clients.

In closing, Parys is a town with many pensioners/retirees as residents so I find it appalling that Nedbank would undertake branch renovations, without allowing for the basic banking services, like cash deposits, during such period.
