Appalled at the service 32 day Notice

Nedbank is such a terrible bank when it comes to 32 day Notice. I went to the bank to ask them to get my 32 day notice sooner than I had requested it due to an emergency that i have at home and the consultant confidently told me that Nedbank needs me to get a letter from a doctor or death certificate in order to get my money not even asking what my reasons for saving my money in the first place were or why I need the money urgently. The least the bank could've done was to make me pay a penalty and still get my money when I needed it but instead they tell me that I need a 3rd party to "authorize" me to get my money that I saved on my own without any authorization from anyone else. I am appalled at the stupidity of the bank rules seriously. We save money so that we can also use that money for any type of emergency that arises. I am definitely closing both my accounts that I have with them . Not happy at all with their service.
