Amex Rewards Points Programme - Total Waste of Time

If you are considering getting an Amex card for the Membership Rewards Points please don't bother. These points are completely worthless.

Trying to redeem your MR points for airline miles? Impossible. Since the airlines advertised as being partner airlines are in fact not associated with the programme at all. False info, and a complete ****.

Want to redeem points for so called " exclusive travel offers" ? Good luck ! These are simply photos of beaches on a website with no way of ever accessing these so called deals.. Website hasn't been updated in months, not one of the advertised " deals" exists.

Think the call centre can help you? Think again. Nedbank and Amex staff have no clue about this programme, how it works, what's on offer, or how to redeem your points. After an hour or two of endless transfer between departments, you too will be cut off by which ever incorrect department you landed up in.

Think making an official complaint via the Customer Service channels will help? It's been 45 days - no response at all.

If I could rate this programme zero stars, I would.
