All I want is to see the quote of the repairs

I recently lodge a claim to have floors and kitchen cupboards replaced due to water damage.<br> The assessor of nedbank and the 2 different installers were here measuring and evaluating the status of the repairs. The quote for the kitchen cupboards was so high that the assessor had to come inspect the status of the repairs to be done. My wife phoned this specific kitchen cupboard installer and was told that a certain quantity of repairs will be done. However, this later changed and now a lesser quantity will be replaced/repaired.<br> All I want from Nedbank Insurance is to sent me a copy of the original quote that was forwarded to them for the repairs/replacements. I need this for clarification and also for my private filing purposes.<br> I have contacted Nedbank Insurance in this regard but was told that I should contact the installer. I then phoned the installer, but was told that they are not allowed to sent copies of quotes to clients. I'm must get it from Nedbank Insurance. Why can such a simple request turn out to be so high a state secret.!?<br> Please help in this regard.
