Agents are ***********, providing incorrect info. No loyalty to loyal clients

I was just recently approved - by Nedbank - for a 8% overdraft interest rate, but am paying 17% on my Nedbank credit card. So, because I have been with Nedbank since the 90's and I have an excellent credit rating, I contacted Nedbank and asked them to review my account and offer me a lower interest rate on my credit card, but I was declined, in spite of being a loyal customer with them for so many years. I am currently paying double the interest rate on my credit card, than the 8% Nedbank just approved me for. Instead, the Nedbank manager suggested I go back to the higher credit card plan (platinum) and pay higher fees to Nedbank???

This is how a loyal client of multiple years is treated by Nedbank. Apart from me paying high interest on funds used on my credit card, I am charged different fees, which Nedbank debits on THREE separate days, causing me to incur VAT on three separate days and amounts. And then, of course, be told I don't qualify for the 55 days interest-free, simply because I don't swipe my credit card, but transact online instead.

In addition, in the last few months, I have called and emailed Nedbank multiple times, spoke to a ridiculous number of agents, just to get information on my account. I have been transferred from pillar to post, because Nedbank agents don't seem to know how to transfer someone to the correct department. I have been given incorrect information regarding my account, I have had my own time and money wasted on all of these calls, and had an embarrassing experience at a till point, where I could not pay for goods, because Nedbank agents had informed me incorrectly regarding the new cards sent to me and I was not able to use my new cards, due to the misinformation by Nedbank. Only to be forced to go into a branch and be told again, by another agent, that what I was previously advised was incorrect, and didn't need to come into the bank at all!

I have been requesting for WEEKS for someone from Nedbank - who actually knows what they're talking about and knows the correct information and processes - to call me and discuss the best way to use my credit card, and advise how the billing cycle date and due date play a role in how I utilize my credit card. To date, I've had no such call from Nedbank, this was also brought to the attention of the Credit Card manager Sibusiso Dladla, even after advising that I would lodge a complaint on hellopeter due to all of the above, and still no call back from Nedbank.
