Account settled but still owing
I took a loan of R38000 with Nedbank, my monthly instalments were R1640.I decided to settle the account and pay less instalments through OMF. We requested a settlement letter on the 25th February 2016 and it was valid until the 3rd of March.

The account was settled on the 7th of March 2016, I was not aware that i still had to pay a shortfall of R229.21. No one contacted me about it, to my suprises on the 21st April i received an sms \please note that the monthly repayments of R1394.95 was not received from you, call our contact centre with your ref number\".

I called them, was assisted by the guy named \"Kyle\" he was rude and I told him that i did not like his tone. I explained my situation and he told me that I was liable for that interest and that i was going to pay it. I sked him why wasn't I informed about the R229.21, he told me that i was responsible for that account and i must pay that amount.
It seems like Nedbank likes to add R1000 on top of the \"supposed due amount\", because i believe that if I owe them I was supposed to be informed. I really am disappointed with this experience

Nedbank continues to take customers for a ride, I regret ever visiting their compa"
