ACCOUNT CLOSURE LETTER AND REMOVAL FROM DEBT REVIEW

Good day,

I was under debt review for a couple of years back. Nedbank Cheque account was one of the accounts handed over. I made my last payment in February 2020. I lodged a dispute with Nedbank regarding them charging me for a monthly service fee for the account when it was still under review.

I was told by their debt review division that they can't help me as the account was removed from their system as it was paid off, but they never issued a paid up letter. I battled to get the matter resolved whilst at the same time my name can not be cleared by debt rescue as they do not have proof that I paid off Nedbank.

I then requested Nedbank to close my cheque account and issue me with an account closure letter, which I am still battling to receive. On the 6th of June 2020, I wrote an email to *** as advised by the consultant who promised the matter will be attended within 24 hours. I made a follow up call to the same number listed under clientfeedback and the consultant wanted to refer me back to debt review who failed to assist me in the first place. He then told me that that is a legal matter and I am not calling the relevant department.

Who is the relevant department to clear my name from debt review after such a long struggle to reinvent my financial record?
