Account closed for 2 years and 3 months now I am being handed over to MBD Attorneys.

Nedbank handed me over to MBD Attorneys, I were shock when they phoned me last week to inform me that I were handed over for my cheque account I had with Nedbank.

I explained to the lady from MBD that I closed that account more than 2 years ago.

I changed banks and on the 15th June 2016 all my debit order were supposed to went off my new bank but our HR did not change my banking details in time and I had to go into Nedbank to withdraw my salary and deposit it into the new bank. I explain to the teller that I would like to close down my account she went and collected a form that I needed to fill in, if my views are correct I think I were at teller 18. She called the manager, Danie or Deon is his name. He had to sign of the transaction. After we completed all I asked her if they will need anything else from me and she said no, and the account will be closed in 5 working days. Nedbank never called me regarding that account but now 2 years and 3 months later I must here I am handed over. I fail to understand, as I went into the branch to close down the account.
