Acc on Dormant while Monthly fee Forever Debited Against

How ridiculous Nedbank service has become, this bank has literally put my account on "Dormant" they call for no transactions taken place for for times however they keep debiting my account for monthly fee while I do not have access to it. If for some reason they suspected that I might have passed on due to no transactions happening against my account shouldn't they have attempted finding out? They keep debiting my account every month but I don't have access to my own money. Long story short, the Nedbank App says I should visit the branch which I have done so and I was told I should contact some number which they will assist me telephonic which they failed to help. If I pay a monthly fee why do you dictate that I should make transaction.
