A little frustrated and confused
On Monday the 7th I app**** online for a Greenbacks credit card. At the end of the application they ask you to send your ID copy and state it will take 5-7 working days. On Thursday the 10th I received an sms asking me for statements and payslips which I then emailed. On Friday the 11th I received another sms asking me for statements and payslips again, so I called the call center. I spoke to a lovely lady by the name of Zama. She provided me with her email address and asked me to send all my documents to her, and she'll send them directly to an agent to assist me and get the documents allocated. Saturday morning I woke up to yet another sms asking me for documents. At this point I was feeling quite annoyed so I decided to go into the branch for some assistance. Unfortunately if you apply online, the consultant in the branch can't assist with anything, they can only view the comments. So the consultant emailed the call centre and asked them to action my documents. Yesterday, Monday morning, I received another sms asking me for doc's. I emailed the screen shot to Zama and she called me within 20 minutes to assure me that she has handed over the doc's to someone to allocate them. About 30 minutes thereafter, I received a call to confirm banking account, salary info etc. I was also notified that I will receive feedback in 5-7 working days. So I figure the 5-7 working day period restarts when they have received your docs. About an hour ago, I received another sms asking me for doc's. I called the call centre and a kind gentleman confirmed that the comments did not state anything about awaiting docs, so the sms is probably not valid. I am generally a very patient person, and I know there is a process to follow so I'm 100% happy with waiting, however, feeling unsure about the process and if someone is actually attending to your application does suck. I am VERY happy with Nedbank as my everyday bank and would never change. I will continue to refer friends and family to Nedbank, however, I will definitely rather suggest going into a branch rather than doing things online.
