27 Aug 2025, 16:16Vehicle incident was reported in June 2025 - by 20th June I had called the insurance for the car to be collected Tuesday 24th. Sure an unauthorized towing company was used - but the incident was in a remote area, leaving the vehicle in an open area would have caused more problems.
At the end of June there was a dispute between insurance and towing company. Summons written to take the matter to high court.
All this time I have to pay installments for 3 months , constant follow ups and its end of August with no conclusion of the matter.
In all this yes I have received a settlement of loss letter from insurance but the finance house letters expired twice on the 8th August and now 22nd August because no payment made by insurance.
In all this - I had to be the one to tell them to send an Assessor to assess the vehicle, or conduct a digital assessment of the vehicle since i was told upon every follow up and communication the vehicle not in their the premises.
In my mind the court order was granted by the high court but as of today I am still being told they are waiting for the vehicle to be on their premises. Surely the order tell you you will get the vehicle so settle in order for me not to pay another insurance premium, vehicle installment and tracking services.
I wish this could just be concluded - 3 months is too long!
