22 Years of Loyalty to Nedbank Insurance – Rejected & Now Canceled!

After 22 years with Nedbank Insurance, barely claiming anything, we expected support when disaster struck. Instead, we got excuses, rejected claims, and now we’ve been canceled! 1. Pool floor lifted 7 years after I personally financed repairs due to a crack – Claim rejected (“poor workmanship”). 2. December hailstorm caused severe home damage – Claim rejected (“poor maintenance”). 3. Now, after disputing these unfair claim rejections, Nedbank has canceled our insurance!

We’ve paid ±R600,000 in premiums over the years, yet when we needed assistance, Nedbank refused to pay out and then dropped us entirely. What’s the point of insurance if they can take your money for decades, only to abandon you when you need them?

This is unacceptable, and I urge homeowners and new buyers to think twice before trusting Nedbank Insurance.

I expect a full review of my claims, reinstatement of fair coverage, and accountability for this disgraceful treatment of long-term, loyal clients.
