2 weeks and no progress on burnt down garage
On 21 August our garage burnt down and we needed to submit an insurance claim.I contacted the contact centre and Leilani Bingham's supervisor (Melton Scotte) advised that the assessor Wayne Weimann would attend to the case. Wayne completed an assessment on 24 August. On 25 August Greg of Greyland construction visited the house to give a quotation. On 31 August Greyland visited our house and moved the rubble onto a heap. On 4 September I spoke to Wayne Weiman who advised that he is awaiting authorization from the bank. The garage is a health and safety hazard due to the fact that it is falling apart. We have children on our premises and this is dangerous to them as well. The carport and other parts of the garage are falling apart. This needs to be sorted out soon. It has been two weeks and no progress has been made.
