10 Days turned into 17 days and still nothing

My deceased grandfather left me a dream makers policy. I went to Nedbank on the 29th of February to claim this policy and they told me that I need the original ID of my grandfather. I told them that I dont have it and it is impossible for me to get it as he lived in George and I live in Vanderbijlpark.
They told me that I then need a original death certificate and a affidavit to state why I dont have the original ID and why I cant get it. I had everything, filled in the forms and they send it through and it has been approved...
I asked them if there is anything else that they need and they said no because it has been approved and the money would be paid into my account within 10 days. After 14 days, I called client services and they forgot about my policy and told me that it would be paid in within the next two days. Today I called again and now there is a problem again beacuse I need the ID again. Very bad service!!! I would not recommend Nedbank to anybody.
