Ithuba cheats lotto players
Ithuba must be made to understand that under these Covid-19 conditions, winning lottery is a relief during these trying times. They must go an extra mile to assist lotto winners get their money. No one knows how long this lockdown is gonna last. If provision is made for us to play, draws made, then they should equally go an extra mile to pay. Not this thing that "there's nothing we can do. You have to wait for lockdown to pass. " This is grossly unfair.

10 Apr 2020, 11:30Being an online SA lotto player, I won a little over one hundred thousand rands. According to Ithuba, they don't pay amounts exceeding 50k into winners' online wallets. However, my argument is that since my bank account has been verified when I submitted fica documents electronically, and I use the same account to transfer money into lotto account electronically, my winnings should be processed electronically into my bank account since am told that in order to be paid, I must first come to their offices. The question is, for what.... More so because am told they are working remotely and offices are closed due to lockdown. After I first complained via hello Peter, I explained that gonna struggle with debts since am losing my additional income due to lockdown. On the other side one has to support other immediate family members who are working peace meal and have lost their income as well. However, the person who called me says I should apply for a bank loan and explain to the bank that am expecting lotto money. Surely this is madness. These people know exactly who I am, they know my bank account, lockdown has been extended and I see no reason why they refuse to be flexible by hiding behind lockdown. The only reason I can think of is that they are earning interest on our winnings, hence they are playing dumb. SA government must intervene here. Winners shouldn't suffer during this lockdown because of these selfish people. Must we apply for government handouts while we won cash... This agent tells me they are afraid of covid-19 and I can't be paid. This is nonsense.
