Frustrating Claims Process and Poor Customer Service

I have generally been satisfied with the service over the past few months, until I needed to consult a specialist. Prior to the appointment, I contacted the service provider to confirm whether I qualified to see a specialist and whether the costs would be reimbursed. I was assured that I did qualify and that the reimbur*****t would be processed upon submission of the necessary documents.

Following this guidance, I went ahead with the specialist consultation and was issued a claims form. However, after submitting the claim, I was informed that I did not qualify to see a specialist and that the reimbur*****t would not be processed. What’s even more disappointing is that I received no communication from them regarding this—I had to follow up myself, including a call placed by the specialist’s office on my behalf.

To make matters worse, when I called to seek clarity, the agent I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional—she hung up on me while I was still trying to explain my concerns, despite me being the one who placed the call.

I am currently on their premium plan and have been a loyal client for four months. It is deeply frustrating to be misinformed, to receive poor customer service, and to have to pay out of pocket despite being assured otherwise. This experience has raised serious concerns about the reliability of the service, the consistency of communication, and the overall value of what I’m paying for.

Good day,

Thank you for your response, but I remain extremely disappointed with how my claim has been handled. It has now been over two weeks with no payout and no communication from your side regarding timelines or resolution.

I have been the one constantly following up, despite being in a position where my health and ability to see a specialist depends on this claim. The lack of urgency and transparency is not only frustrating but unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the process was mishandled from the start. I was given the go-ahead to consult a specialist prior to the approved date by your own customer care agent, and another staff member issued me a claims form without following proper procedure. Now I am the one left to suffer because of your internal miscommunication and negligence.

I expected more from a healthcare service provider. Please resolve this as a matter of urgency. I cannot afford further delays that put my health at risk
