Extremely disappointed and concerned

I am extremely unhappy with the way this company has handled my debt review.

I had approximately R15,000 in debt, yet I was placed under debt review and was told that the company would assist with reducing the interest and arranging payments with my creditors.

I was charged/deducted approximately R6,000, but I have not received a clear explanation of where this money went or proof that it was paid to my creditors. My understanding is that this amount was retained by the company as their fee.

I have repeatedly tried to contact the company by telephone and WhatsApp, but they are not answering my calls or responding to my messages.

I need a proper explanation of: 1. Why I was placed under debt review. 2. What agreement or consent was used to place me under debt review. 3. Exactly what the R6,000 was charged for. 4. Where my money was paid and how much was actually paid to each creditor. 5. What the current status of my debt review is. 6. What steps will be taken to resolve this matter and, if applicable, refund money that was improperly charged or retained.

I am requesting that the company contact me urgently and provide written proof and a full statement of account.

I do not believe it is acceptable to take a substantial amount of money from a consumer and then become unreachable when the consumer asks for an explanation.

If this matter is not resolved, I will consider escalating the complaint to the National Credit Regulator and other relevant authorities.

I would like a written response addressing each of the points above
