No response from NCC
I submitted a complaint with Miosa( Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa) in February 2019 and on 25 September after calling monthly for an update they advised that they cannot assist me and I must refer my complaint to the NCC. I then with great disappointment submitted my concerns to the NCC on the 2nd of October 2019. Knowing this is a reputable place where ones concerns will actually be addressed I submitted my complaint and concerns against the dealership the Dealer is Dominion Motors email: *** and the lady that assisted me is Emma : *** . To my surprise the NCC has not responded to my complaint or even acknowledged the receipt of my complaint. This is completely unacceptable and in no way are you protecting the consumer or even living up to your values. You promise to prohibit certain unfair marketing and business practices which in this case I was sold a vehicle under false pretense with low mileage and an inflated cost price due to low mileage. It is only after my car was due for service that I picked up that what I was told about the vehicle is not true. The kilometers was almost three times of what I was told and obviously buying a car on low kilometers I had to pay more. Now I have still not received a service book from the dealer and off co**** it all makes sense as if I had received on I would have seen that what I was sold and what is in the service book does not correspond. I was mislead and de*****ed and you as the NCC has not even so much as sent me an email or called me. This car is costing me thousands and taking money away from my family and there is no one to assist me. Why have these channels available when they do not operate or even co operate . can someone attend to my complaint as a matter of urgency??????
