Complaint Against the National Consumer Commission

The National Consumer Commission allowed a matter to prescribe in their care. The matter of Mr Sure Mpofu VS Terry's Auto was first lodged with the NCC on 19 February 2013. The NCC then referred the matter to the Motor Industry Ombadsman who ruled in Mr Mpofu's favour on 20 May 2016. The matter was then referred back to the NCC on 26 May 2016 for a letter of Compliance as Terry's Auto refused to pay up. After hundreds of phone calls that went nowhere, and a string of emails of which I have in my possession, Mr Badisa Boikanyo of the NCC only got back to me on 3 March 2017 saying the matter didn't receive attention because it prescribed in JUNE 2016. We sent the matter to them in MAY 2016! Shame on you Ms Prudence Moilwa, Chief Director, for failing to answer my emails and return my calls week after week. Shame on you Ms Fikile Ntuli (Pinky's supervisor) and Ms Pinky Makhanya for ignoring this case and allowing Mr Mpofu to be so badly prejudiced, and I am horrified that the phone of the Office of the Commissioner just continuously rings that I am not able to contact the Commissioner directly to resolve this issue ( ********** . The NCC needs to ensure that the correct letter to the Tribunal be issued in favour of Mr Mpofu or this matter will end up in the media and the NCC will be held liable for Mr Mpofu's costs.
