You are the ********

Well you might pay a better price but be aware when you try to claim. They will make you feel like a ********, but I guess that is true for all insurance companies since their #1 goal is to make as much money for as little service as possible. My son and his young family live in the main house where they broke in. They entered by breaking the sliding door and stole al the electronics with my small grandchildren in their beds. The family was traumatized and I proceeded to log a claim with naked. Getting things like case numbers ect. is very difficult but we eventually got it and submitted it together with their required 'selfie' video in which I explained and showed what happened. They responded that I needed to provide proof of forcible entry and/or cctv footage, both of which I have. But they way they do it makes you feel like you are the one *****ing. And out of princple they can get of their ****s and come and see the evidence of forcible entry for themselves, which btw they NEVER offer to send somebody to come and fix. Me and my son spend another R10K to try and safeguard the family and their belongings. Go with Naked if you are the ********, if you are the victim, stay away

We are sorry to hear about the frustrations caused during your claim. We pride ourselves in the service that we provide to our clients and take complaints like yours seriously.
Our aim is always to provide a fair and prompt resolution to all claims. Unlike other insurance, we charge a fixed percentage of your premiums to do everything. No hidden fees or hidden agendas (that’s why we’re called Naked!). Our flat fee means that our income doesn’t depend on how much we pay out in claims, so we have no reason to make claiming difficult.
Please understand that our team requested specific information from you before processing the claim, in accordance with our internal procedures and policy wording. Additionally, all claims and associated tasks are handled directly through the app. Any additional requests made were to ensure completeness and accuracy in processing your claim.
We assure you that we're not attempting to delay your claim or cause further inconvenience.

and WHOOSH that went over your head completely. But wait, the story gets better. Your app built on 'AI' does not allow you to update anything i.e. if you find a mistake you cannot correct it, you have to speak to the team creating great confusion because now what I initially listed and what is reality are 250 chats apart. But wait, it gets even better. My car keys were in the bag that was taken during the ******* i.e. it was part of what was ******. Yet you refuse to handle it as such. Instead, I must lodge a different claim with another separate excess. The key was not lost or ****** in Durban while they burgled my home in Pretoria. No, it was ****** in the exact same incident in which they stole the TV.

And it gets much better. Only days after receiving the replacement for a service provider they appointed in Potchefstroom (I am in Pretoria) it is defective. Lodge a call with the service provider and after days of back and forth, we were told that it would be collected and sent for assessment and possible repairs. The assessment will take 21 working days. So after spending 2 weeks getting the claim processed, days with the service provider it will be another 21 working days minimum before we will know what they will do about the defective product. Yip that is what you get when your insurance company allocates BEE contracts to people not even in the same region as you.
