Unacceptable outcome of claim

I was involved in a small accident where a vehicle drove straight into me at a stop street. The driver acknowledged that it was entirely his fault. All the driver details were sent to Naked and a police report was opened. I had to pay the R5k excess which Naked informed me they would try to claim from the 3rd parties insurance. After 5 months, and consistent nagging I was simply told. "Unfortunately, they have closed the matter based on lack of correct contact details. They were unable to make successful contact with the third party." This is outrageous. At no stage was I informed that the details supp**** by the third party including a photo I took of his registration plate were incorrect. My advise. Be very very careful placing your trust in this company. Great premiums but do they really have your best interests at heart.
